Franklin Elementary School

Our Bully Prevention Program
Bully Free at Franklin!
In the fall of 2012, we implemented a school-wide Bully Free Program.  With the help of student leaders, parents, teachers, classroom lessons, and our PBIS team, we are making Franklin a Bully Free School!  Please contact Angie Ellsworth, Behavior Coach, if you have any questions about what you see here!

Bully Free Classroom Lessons
Using guiding bully prevention principals from PBIS and our own Bully Free Pledge, these grade level appropriate lessons empower kids to stand up and speak out against bullying.  Once each week for a month, students viewed these lessons and held discussions with the adults in their rooms.
  Bully Free Mini-Assemblies
Students receive these lessons each month during extended Teacher Professional Learning Community time.  Interactive and engaging, provided in a mini-assembly format, we have the opportunity to share important messages to students of each grade level each month.  Many of these mini-assemblies focus on additional skills and compliment our Bully Free Classroom Lessons.
