Deb Smith (DCD)

My name is Deb Smith.
I am a teacher at Ben Franklin for students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD).

Some things about myself:
I am married and have three children.
I enjoy flower gardening, camping, concerts, and time with family.

Some things about what I do as a DCD teacher:
I work with students who need help with a variety of things, from learning self care tasks to academics. Students work with myself and a team of paraprofessionals throughout their day. Students usually spend time in my classroom and in a grade level classroom. Students need to be tested by the school psychologist and others to qualify for DCD services.
