By the end of second quarter students will be able to:
Read at a level 10 or above
Identify the setting of a story
Read 76 or more Dolch sight words
Write a complete sentence with finger spacing, capital letter at the beginning, and appropriate end mark
Identify the name and value of the penny, nickel, dime, quarter and dollar
Tell time to the nearest half hour
Count back from 20 to 0
Complete +1 addition facts
Complete +0 addition facts

By the end of third quarter students will be able to:
Read at a level 12 or above
Identify the main idea of a story
Read 94 or more Dolch sight words
Identify sounds in words
Use frames and arrows diagrams for addition
Find many names for a number using Name Collection Boxes
Draw and solve story problems
Identify 15 missing numbers in one minute
Orally count to at least 78 in one minute

By the end of fourth quarter students will be able to:
Read at a level 16 or above
Identify the plot of a story
Read 113 or more Dolch sight words
Understand place value for tens and ones
Complete addition facts for doubles
Complete addition facts for sums of 10
Complete -1 subtraction facts
Complete -0 subtraction facts
Identify two-dimensional shapes
Orally count to at least 83 in one minute
